  • Conduct a JPME I capstone exercise. 

  • Apply, analyze, and evaluate new USMC Force Design and emerging concepts.

  • Evaluate student ability to apply the Joint Planning Process.

  • Evaluate student planning and decision-making skills against a thinking enemy in a time constrained environment at the operational level of war.

  • Apply staff actions and battle rhythm events (BC2WGs) that facilitate the  Commander’s (HQE) decision making process.

  • Analyze and evaluate student ability to conduct planning that supports HHQ guidance and tasking by creating options for a JFEO within the CJOA and an FDR response within the region. 

  • Apply concurrent planning at multiple echelons of command 

  • Evaluate student communication skills - oral and written - and analyze their recommended solution for an assigned complex operational problem to senior and subordinate elements.

  • Evaluate student ability to assess and mitigate operational and strategic risk while analyzing and evaluating their ability to manage vertical escalation.
