Alma & Primo Staff Training Guide

Resources for LoMC staff training in Alma and Primo.

Onsite Workhop April 9-10, 2019

Some things to know...

  • The workshop is a great opportunity to pick the brain of an ExLibris expert! Please come with your sense of curiosity and lots of questions, and make the most out of the time we have with our trainer.
  • All staff (Research and Base Library) must attend the sessions assigned to them, no exceptions. Your supervisor will let you know which sessions you'll be attending. You'll be assigned to sessions you will need to perform your job in Alma, or to help others perform a job (such part-time circ desk work, etc.).
  • Attendance at our previous Intro sessions does not entitle you to skip this workshop! We wanted to introduce you to Alma so it wouldn't be a surprise (albeit a happy one). If an exception really must be made, Virtual Branch will spend one-on-one time with that staff member in order that they receive identical training.
  • If a staff member cannot attend due to illness or emergency, we will arrange for one-on-one time to make up the sessions.
