MASKS REQUIRED TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES, NO EXCEPTIONS

All COVID safety measures remain in effect

Masks & social distancing required, personnel limits on entry

Marine Corps Research Library

• Open to DoD Active Duty, DoD Civilians, DoD Contractors, Reserves, and Marine Corps University students, faculty, and staff ONLY.
• MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. THOSE WHO REFUSE TO COMPLY WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
• Patron limit: 50 persons at a time.
• Computer workstations: Open to DoD Active duty, DoD Civilians, DoD Contractors, Reserves, and Marine Corps University students, faculty, and staff only.
  • 21 computer workstations and 1 scanning station available.
  • 1 hour time limit on computer workstations if other patrons are waiting. Must present CAC and register at Circulation Desk.
• Open study spaces: No time limit. Please practice social distancing and wear masks.
• Private study/meeting rooms: Not available.
• Second deck: Off limits to patrons.
  • To borrow items from second deck, please fill out a request slip at the catalog kiosk or Circulation Desk, and a staff member will retrieve the items requested.
  • You can also place a hold online through your account.
• New student accounts: New students must register for accounts online in MCU Moodle. if MCU Moodle is not available to you, please contact mcu_grc_virtual@usmcu.edu for more information.
• All other new accounts: Non-student patrons can register for new accounts at the Circulation Desk. If you prefer to register online, please contact mcu_grc_virtual@usmcu.edu for more information.

Quantico Base Library

• Open to all patrons, including DoD/NAF Civilians, Retirees, and family.
• MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. THOSE WHO REFUSE TO COMPLY WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
• Patron limit: 10 persons at a time.
• Patron time limit: 1 hour.
• Computer workstations
  • Social-distancing compliant computer workstations and a scanning workstation will be installed NLT 24 August 2020.
  • Users must present valid DoD ID and register for a workstation assignment at the Circulation Desk.
  • 1 hour time limit on computer use.
  • 3 computer workstations and 1 scanning station available.
• Onsite programming, activities or events: None.
• Second deck: Off limits to patrons.
  • To borrow items from second deck, please fill out a request slip at the catalog kiosk or Circulation Desk and a staff member will retrieve the items requested.
  • You can also place a hold online through your account.
• Curbside pickup: By request. If you require curbside pickup due to health concerns, please contact the Base Library at 703-784-4348.
• New accounts: Patrons can register for new accounts at the Circulation Desk. If you prefer to register online, please contact mcu_grc_virtual@usmcu.edu for more information.
