Graduation Books, Unit Yearbooks, & Cruise Book Collection

The Marine Corps University Research Library holds nearly 1,600 graduation books, unit yearbooks, and unit/ships’ cruise books, the result of thoughtful donations from Marines and their families.

We are proud of our collection and happy to help you in your search.  Here are some things you need to know before you get started:

  1. Content: Our collection is NOT comprehensive. If you don’t see the book you’re searching for on the list, we do not have it. Other potential sources can be found on our Other Sources page.

  2. Access and availability: These books are contained within our Special Collections, which means that they are non-circulating and cannot be loaned. Special Collections materials must be viewed in the Library's Special Collections reading area.

  3. Reproduction: The books in this collection are similar in general content and format to high school or college yearbooks, compiled and paid for by the officers and enlisted personnel of a ship, unit, or graduating class for private distribution.  As such, they are NOT official USMC or USN publications and copyright restrictions may apply to their reproduction.
